The ramen is very authentic, I'm a Japanese and I definitely come back here! Especially Tonkotsu (the pork broth) ramen is excellent. The broth was rich, boiled egg was so creamy. There were ginger and white sesami, hot pepper paste to seasoning the soup. It also reminded me Japanese ramen shops. I highly recommend to come there with friends and share both ramen and pancake. The soufflé pancake is so fluffy and can't be served at home. (It takes 25 minutes to be ready) The interior design is a kind of zen style. White stones, bonsai, small pond and golden fish. A hidden oasis in the city.

Food was great- very rich broth, tasty hunk of meat. Probably the best ramen I've found so far. The service was unfortunately not amazing, it took them 20 minutes to serve menus after seating, but at least after ordering, the food came quite quickly. The atmosphere is kinda sketchy (it seems that all of southern Tel Aviv is like this), and is very uncomfortable in the summer heat. Would recommend to hold off until winter to eat here. Also the air conditioning was raining liquids on me the entire time.

This is a good place to enjoy ramen. It has a Japanese atmosphere, calm music, and friendly staff. At the end of the meal, they bring you a glass of water. I recommend this place :)

The main factor for me is food, so I’d say, that it’s 4 out of 5. Because the ramen was tasty, a little bit more salty than I wanted it to be, but good overall. The pancakes are nice, but the portions are big, if you buy both the ramen and the pancakes, you might overeat. The line is too big, and there’s no place to wait in case of rainy weather or extreme heat. And no opportunity to book a table. There’s also not so much please inside: it makes the atmosphere cozy from one hand, but a bit too crowded from the other: I needed to stand up, so people from a different table could go to a bathroom. Also people who had waited in pairs could get a table faster than our company of 4, even though they took place in the line later.

Koko Neko is a true gem for Japanese cuisine lovers. From the moment you walk in, the place feels warm and welcoming. The atmosphere is cozy, the staff are friendly and attentive, and the service is impressively quick — you genuinely feel like a valued guest. The ramen is the highlight here — rich, flavorful broth with a deep umami base that strikes the perfect balance, neither too salty nor bland. The pork is tender, juicy, and slightly smoky — it practically melts in your mouth. The noodles are springy and cooked just right, clearly crafted with care. The menu offers a good variety, the portions are generous, and the presentation is thoughtful. While ramen is the star, it’s clear that attention is paid to every detail, from starters to desserts. All in all, it’s a fantastic spot for either a quick lunch or a relaxed dinner. I’ll definitely be coming back — and recommending it to friends.
