“Samarkand is my favourite restaurant in Israel! The meals are always fresh, with a wide variety to choose from, and the atmosphere is lovely. Special thanks to the staff they always greets customers with a smile, is very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!”

Super cool place, if you’re in Tel Aviv you need to go here and try something new. Food is good and all the decorations and theme of the place is Samarkand (Uzbekistan) which for those of you who don’t know history, Samarkand city used to be the center of trade and power and arts in Central Asia in late 1300s under Tamerlane (Timur). Anyways it’s a fun restaurant check it out.

Most likely one of the best, if not THE best Uzbek-cuisine restaurant I've visited. Parking can be somewhat of an issue, but not a deal breaker by any means - there's a free parking lot right near the place, and usually it has free spots. As for the place itself, it has yet to disappoint me. They provide the orders SO fast it's insane. The food is always amazingly tasty, the staff is simply superb, and they have rooms for private events as well, equipped with tvs in case some one wants to showcase something like a presentation. The price is normal, nothing too expensive. Great, great place.

They used to be better, such a shame.. Absolutely rude and not friendly service. Dirty toilet. Our waiter acted like he was doing us a favor. The skewers and the dumplings were over cooked and dry. Wouldn’t recommend the desserts. In an ice cream sandwich the cookies were so massive and hard, we broke the spoon (I’m not kidding) Overall, a lot of potential a very average experience

Affordable prices, plenty original food in menu, meat, pastry, salads. Nice atmosphere, good service, disabled and children welcome. Salads with lots of onion less veggies, meat need more seasoning, great bread, diversity of salads/humus/tahini and more. Toilets need improvement in cleaning. Possible to order place for big groups. Eat in or take away.
