I stayed with my family over the weekend (took 2 rooms). The rooms were lovely, new but very comfortable and warm. They put free extras like sweets, wine and drinks in the rooms. The service we got from all the staff of the hotel was excellent, especially in the restaurant. The food was good. The only problem was that they ran out of few items on the menu, and it happened at dinner and breakfast. I would expect in this type of level of hotel to have extras. Also in one of the rooms they didn’t have big shower towels (there weren’t any in the room and when we asked they gave us small ones). Overall we had a great time, and highly recommend to stay there.

For the price we paid the room was in top notch condition and everything felt new, high quality and clean. The view to the “garden” was disappointing. You are greeted with the (very) messy rooftops of the neighboring buildings. The famous restaurant at the ground floor (Janjariya) was disappointing. The food was good but not as good as you’d expect at these prices (more than 400 NIS per person) and the ambient music was very loud. We asked to turn down the music 4 times. We spoke to three waitresses and in the end to a manager, they pretty much ignored us. At this price level I expect fine dining atmosphere and attention to the customers’ requests. Playing loud music you’d expect in a pub or a club is unacceptable. My wife and I had a hard time talking over the noise even after we switched tables to a more quiet area. I will not eat there again.

I had a great experience at this hotel. The staff were friendly, the room was spotless and comfortable, and the location was perfect — quiet but close to everything. The amenities were excellent and made the stay feel special. I’d definitely come back!

I had a deeply distressing experience at this restaurant. After our food came, I asked to wash my hands and was sent downstairs with no signs or directions. I got lost in smelly, abandoned areas before finally finding a bathroom. When I returned visibly shaken, a staff member led me to another unmarked door — a restroom where, moments after I entered, several men came out of the stalls. I felt unsafe, exposed, and deeply unsettled. Back upstairs, an aggressive man — who didn’t identify himself — confronted me instead of offering support. When I later asked his name and position, he mocked me for wanting to file a complaint. He turned out to be one of the owners. At no point did he show concern, take responsibility, or offer even basic courtesy. I left feeling disrespected and violated. I won’t be returning.

Café Ramban review Went here as a couple to have a nice dinner. Was mostly empty. Ordered cocktails and food immediately upon arrival, 33 minutes later we got served. We ordered the roasted beets as a starter, was bland. The dish consists of beats with a couple dollops of cheese mascarpone. Would rate 2/5. For the main we got Ricota tortellini. It was amazing. Five pieces of tortellini for 90 shekel. And they were heavenly. Another main we ordered was the mushroom risotto for 98 NIS. Was horrible. We could not finish the dish. Was over-loaded with parmigiano and truffle tasted substance. 🤢 way out of proportions! Do they even taste what they serve??? For dessert, we got the nemesis a non-gluten dessert, chocolate cake 42 Israeli shekels. Was great would recommend. To summarize, I would not be back as half of what we ordered was crap and everything summed to almost 400shekel
