Refined, cosy restaurant offering well-executed, modern dishes in a lakefront setting. Their €80 7-course tasting menu is a good fusion of local and other regions' ingredients with a nod to overseas food. Mains average €22-28, starters €20.

Excellent raw ingredients, and a good chef in the kitchen make this a lovely place for dinner. Very good selection of wines, and would recommend the wine pairing. I would happily go back!

We have recently visited this restaurant and we had such a great experience! The restaurant itself sits on a beautiful lake and the dinner atmosphere was very relaxing. Davide and his team are super prepared ,knowing and explaining every single dish and products to the roots, great wine selection with a deep focus on artisan wines. The food was just perfectly cooked, textures and finely balanced by the talented chef Gianmarco. I have to say : it’s the real deal in Castel Di Sangro!!!!!

Innovative, delicious cuisine. Material Prima offers a complete fine dining experience as you’d expect from a Michelin guide restaurant. We’d definitely return! They were even able to expertly develop satisfying, creative, gluten free and vegan meals (not easy for most chefs in this region).
