Chez Vivie in Tel Aviv exceeded all my expectations. The food was simply outstanding, every plate was fresh and full of taste. The service deserves a special mention: extremely attentive, friendly, and very helpful with English explanations about the dishes. It made everything so accessible and enjoyable. The restaurant has a wonderful atmosphere, both lively and relaxing at the same time. Definitely one of the best dining experiences I’ve had lately.

Cute new place, great location and amazing service (Or was the best!). The food is good, some dishes were really good but nothing was really unique. The price however was excessive. The wine prices are really good, even cheap for TLV (and for really high quality wine). But the food is really overpriced. Our total was almost 700 for a couple and we didn't leave there stuffed.

Chez Vivie is the third Restaurant by chef Guy Gamzo, founder of the Aria and Nununu Restaurants. It is a typical Brasserie meaning that whilst the food is excellent, the prices are quite reasonable. We booked a table for 4 and enjoyed a wonderful service there. There's plenty of attentive staff who, when they noticed that two of our main dishes came later than the others immediately offered us another dish as compensation (Swordfish). Apart from the starters and main dishes you should definitely leave room for desserts, I recommend the pistachio creme brûle. The Restaurant is located on the corner of Dizengoff and Ben Gurion and I recommend making a booking as it was full. Note that the restaurant itself is not kosher.

We got here since we saw a time out article about great brunch places. Tbh the place is slightly derelict, with wobbly tables, narrow corridors with cramped bar tables and a feeling of a a place beyond it's best years. The food we took a shared breakfast, wasn't bad but really nothing special, and had such a ridiculously miniscule amount of avocado, it was almost insulting. The bathroom was also in a terrible state, which contributed to the neglectful vibe. The coffee was very good, I can say that much. Since we came there especially for a birthday, we left with a feeling of dissatisfaction from the overall experience. There are much nicer places to spend a brunch.

The food took an incredibly long time to arrive, and when it finally did, the portions were disappointingly small. The prices were extremely high for this type of cuisine, and honestly, not justified by the quality or experience. There was no flexibility with the menu — as vegetarians, we asked to remove the fish from a dish, but were told that no substitutions were allowed. To top it off, we weren’t even allowed to take our leftovers home because “we don’t have containers”. How is that even acceptable? Wouldn’t recommend, and definitely won’t be coming back.
