The Hawaii Food & Wine Festival (HFWF) is returning for its fifteenth year, spanning three weekends in October 2025 across the islands of Hawaii, Maui, and Oahu. The festival, showcasing Hawaii's culinary excellence, connects chefs with local farmers, ranchers, and fishermen, highlighting the islands' rich agricultural heritage. Beyond the main events, HFWF is actively involved in culinary education and community support, raising approximately $5 million annually for these initiatives. This year, the festival is partnering with Hawaii News Now's Kitchen Scraps culinary competition, where viewers can vote for their favorite chef to win tickets to the Oahu event. Furthermore, several scholarship opportunities are available for aspiring food entrepreneurs and culinary professionals through the Hawaii Ag & Culinary Alliance, offering financial assistance for courses at Leeward Community College and the Culinary Institute of the Pacific (CIP) in collaboration with the Culinary Institute of America (CIA). These scholarships aim to support local talent and further develop Hawaii's thriving culinary scene.
