Tel Aviv Groove, a pop-up culinary event series showcasing Tel Aviv's vibrant food and arts scene, launched in Los Angeles from October 19th to 21st, 2022. The event, a partnership between ISRAEL21c and creator Orly Segal (with two decades of experience blending Israeli culinary and tourism), featured collaborations with several Los Angeles restaurants and prominent Israeli chefs. The three-day event included a Tel Aviv-styled party at Nua in Beverly Hills, gourmet dinners at various locations including Divino in Brentwood, Santolina at the Beverly Hilton, Next Door (a kosher restaurant), and Savida in Santa Monica, and a relaxed Kabbalat Shabbat (Friday evening Sabbath service) at Nua. Israeli chefs Cobi Bachar, Jonathan Sharvit, and Danna-Lee Berman, along with Israeli sommelier Efi Kotz, were key participants. The event also highlighted emerging Tel Aviv-based artists and musicians. Future events are planned for New York and Chicago, indicating a growing interest in experiencing the unique fusion of Israeli cuisine.
